LINDSEY WASSON, NP-C

University of South Carolina Upstate
Walden University

With more than 16 years of healthcare experience, Lindsey Wasson brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, compassion, and personal understanding to integrative medicine. Her background includes seven years as a bedside registered nurse and nine years as a family nurse practitioner, with experience in urology, hospital medicine, and primary care. For the past three years, she has focused exclusively on integrative and root-cause medicine.

Throughout her career in traditional healthcare, Lindsey often felt something was missing. While she deeply values conventional medicine and the important role it plays, she recognized that much of the healthcare system is designed to manage disease rather than help patients uncover the underlying causes of their health concerns. This realization sparked a passion for helping patients understand why they are struggling—not simply treating symptoms.

Her own personal health journey further fueled that passion. After experiencing autoimmune challenges, anxiety, depression, and the frustration of feeling unheard within the traditional medical system, Lindsey began searching for answers beyond conventional approaches. Discovering root-cause medicine—including the impact of genetics such as MTHFR, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), advanced hormone testing, gut health evaluation, and personalized treatment strategies—became a turning point in her healing journey and ultimately led her to her true calling in integrative healthcare.

Today, Lindsey is passionate about helping patients feel seen, heard, and understood. She believes meaningful healing begins with listening carefully, building genuine connections, and addressing the whole person—mind, body, and lifestyle. Her approach combines evidence-based medicine with compassionate, individualized care focused on identifying underlying imbalances and restoring health, vitality, and hope.

Patients often describe Lindsey as approachable, empathetic, and easy to talk to. She values creating a safe and welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns, asking questions, and actively participating in their healthcare journey.

Outside of the office, Lindsey's greatest joys are her faith and her family—her husband, son, bonus daughters, and their beloved dog, Reese.

Her experiences as both a healthcare provider and a patient continue to shape the heart behind the care she provides every day.
